Success Stories
Quantitative Electroencephalograph
As of November of 2022, Emerge Residents will have direct access to non-invasive brain imaging technology known as the quantitative electroencephalograph (QEEG) as the result of a collaborative effort on behalf of Mind Matter Regional Neurofeedback Centers. Mind Matters Regional Neurofeedback Centers is New York State’s leading provider of non-invasive neurofeedback and electrophysiological assessment. Their team has extensive experience working with clients who present a diverse range of neurological and mental health disorders since their first clinic opened in 2007.
Overseeing this new endeavor will be Dr. Adriana Steffens, BCN, QEEGT. Dr. Steffens is the owner and founder of Mind Matters Regional Neurofeedback Centers. A specialist in the field of psychophysiology, she holds Ph.D. in Psychology, is a Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA, BCIA.org ) Fellow board certified neurofeedback clinician. In addition, she is a qualified mentor by the BCIA. Dr. Steffens is also part of a group of very select individuals around the world to be trained as a certified Quantitative Electroencephalography interpreter. Dr. Steffens has been a participant of the Southeast Biofeedback and Clinical Neuroscience Association since 2006, acting as the Chair member for 12 years.
Together, we feel strongly that the partnership formed with Mind Matters Regional Neurofeedback Centers will enhance our ability to always provide the highest level of care to Emerge residents.
